This course is dedicated to the study of Dante’s Divine Comedy (read in English translation), with emphasis on the Inferno. We will examine the main themes, characters, events, and places featured in the Divine Comedy, as well as the artistic responses to Dante’s poem. This is a writing intensive course. It is a zero-cost course.
